To begin, I would like to acknowledge the companions that I did not find in the website's archives - Elders: Sanders; Parker; Lee; Brockbank; Garrett; Yagual; Cutler; Neerings; Warner; Owen - I think that's it, sorry if I missed anyone. I also send saludos to my hermanos Elderes from our days in the LTM and on into Ecuador - "Live the Language!"- Elders - Barton; Frost (Azzzul); Lloyd; Hernandez (a great guy who was my best man & friend - post mission); Eckman (who came back to the States with me); Taylor (who served with me in our 1st area - Quevedo, Elder Chuchuca is in our memories); and others who I may not have mentioned - you know who you are.
I have been married to my sweetheart, the former Deborah Parker for nearly 28 years (LA Temple). We have 2 children (Michael Jr. 27, married in the Mesa Temple - no kids yet, and Sarah 24, married with 2 sons, ages 4 and 5 months.
We have lived Arizona since '85, first in Sedona, then in Cottonwood.
BA in English - NAU, minor in (por supuesto) Spanish.
Deb and I both work @ Verde Valley Fire District. She is the Chief's assistant, and I am a Firefighter/ Paramedic (13 years now) My Spanish comes in handy in this profession.
