How to Set Up A Mission Web Site

LDS Mission Network was established to have one central source to find current mission Web sites. While most LDS Missions have Web sites, some have been abandoned and others need to be created. If you are trying to set up a new mission Web site, take over a current one, or trying to take over an abandoned site, please select the appropriate checklist below:

New Mission Website Checklist

If you are creating a NEW mission Web site for a newly formed mission or for a mission which has never yet had a website created:

Read, agree to, and follow LDS Mission Network's Webmaster Agreement Policy. The LDSMN will NOT host pages or link to sites which violate these standards.
Contact us to set up your account on the mission.net server with SSH access, and also to get a user name and password to access webmaster resources and update your profile.
Get set up with an automated Alumni Database (We can provide a complete php "Site-in-a-Box" or a stand-alone CGI database--"RM Database").
As an approved LDS Mission Network site, place the official LDSMN button on your site. This lets visitors know you comply with the LDSMN standards policies and are a credible source for your mission info.
