When I returned home (August 1999) I was adamant that I would not be one of those missionaries who rushed home and married the first girl he saw. She convinced me otherwise and we were married in the Mesa Temple January 2001. Its not my fault she is so gorgeous! In July 2003 we were blessed with our first born son Bryon Scott and he is just a joy. We welcomed home another baby boy, Timothy Allen, in November 2004 and he is just non-stop smiles. Then February 2007 we brought home our little princess, Alyson Grace, and fortunately she takes after her mother and is just beautiful. I am still working at the Phoenix branch office for the top residential architecture firm in the US, along with teaching martial arts, and serving as a ward missionary. So I stay pretty busy. We are very happy in the warm Arizona weather. Although it still upsets my wife when it rains and I say it reminds me of home ;) I will always cherish my memories of serving in the ELM. |
