Because I have been approved by my doctor to start hospice, my life expectancy is about 6 months (altho' I do have permission to defy the odds). With this in mind, and since I have this unique opportunity to plan, I have decided to fore-go any funeral when ever that day may be. I am having a Celebration of Eternal Life gathering with all my family,friends, and others who have made my life what it is. This will be nothing like a funeral-much more fun. After the program will be eats and reminiscing until we wear out our welcome at the church. If you cant make it the 28th for the program, eats, and etc. This planned gathering would be in lieu of a funeral. If you do not want, or are unable, to come, please write me a letter that I can share with my family about your memories that we share or your testimony of the blessings of the Plan of Salvation (i.e. the blessings of death, resurrection, and eternal life). These will be collected and bound together to give strength and courage to my husband and children. These letters can be sent to 788 North 2150 West, Cedar City, UT 84721. CaringBridge is where I will keep all updated on how I am doing, my family are doing, and all that jazz. Please remember, it is all good if you always keep Jesus Christ as your Savior.
I am having a progressive program (meaning it will go from room to room) beginning at 4 p.m. and it will last less than an hour. There will be eats and visiting, laughter and music (bring an instrument if you like to play), and even a few tears, I'll warrant. So here is your official invitation:

Where: 725 South 1100 West, Cedar City, UT (church building)
When: 28 September 2012, 4:00 p.m.
Why: Because I want to celebrate eternal life with you instead of having a funeral
