Currently living in NYC where I've just finished a graduate degree at Columbia University in International Development. Attending the Harlem 1st Branch and loving it--working with some inspiring young men, most of whom are new converts. Worked for 4 years as an internal organizational consultant with Alcoa, the aluminum giant. Did a masters degree at BYU in Organizational Behavior and was happy to reconnect with Jorn Berg who was in the same program. Spent a couple of years leading an NGO which did medical relief work in Ghana...made three excursions there in the mid 90's. Ran into President and Sister Jensen while I was doing some backpacking in the Lake District a couple of years ago. I was looking a little scruffy and their second question to me (after, "what, you aren't married yet?!") was, "Are you still active?" I tried not to be offended. Of course, I am still a believer. Where else would I go? |
