Presidents: Ed J. Pinegar (1985 - 1988) | Served: 1986 - 1988 | Areas Served: Crawley, Canterbury, Hayes, High Wycombe, Hayes (Hanwell, etc again), then Southampton | Companions: Cole Baldwin | Brian Black | Jay R. Cummings | Your Occupation: Unemployed | Spouse: Cheryl | Comments: Since my full-time mission ended, my life has been a whirlwind. At the end of May 1988, I flew home to Florida and by September, I was married and living in Utah.
My wife, Cheryl, and I have seven beautiful, adopted children. Currently, we are empty-nesters, however, the story of how each of our children came into our lives is miraculous. In 2012 I began taking care of my mother who had been living in Indiana. She was diagnosed with Lewy Bodies. In 2017, she was finally able to meet her mother who passed away shortly after her birth. It was a growing experience to care for her. From 1988 to 2012 she had lived in Illinois and I lived in Utah, I got married quickly after my mission. Eventually, I went to BYU and studied physics. During those mentioned years, I visited once a year and in 2012 she needed me to take care of her. My running to and fro on appointments, serving kids with rides, and serving in the Church makes life is interesting. I'm still interested in having contact with old companions, other ELSM alumni, and members from the ELSM wards. Please contact me, I would love to hear from ya. May we have the mighty change again and again, become more Christ-like, develop our spiritual gifts, have abiding charity, have an abundance of mentality, and continue being the manner of men (and women) requisite to be joint-heirs with Christ.
