Elder Shannon (or was it Shannon Johnson) - his girlfriend sent him a huge box of popcorn and he didn't like popcorn.
I served with Elder Nolan twice (introduced me to kebabs, and foofoo in London and then wrestling in Worthing and "sh'bangs" - well I never. I remember now, called himself the Beefcake).

Remember the song, Called to serve in England South of London, England London South we are the best (I bet they sang that in every mission - not the London bit). It was a great experience though. Weren't those training videos the best - Rocky and the Hoosers?

What was the Texan's name again - he introduced the ice cream and chocolate sauce eating ritual each night returning to the flat in Selsdon.I'm happily married with 4 children and am keeping busy in the church. I work as a software developer. Life is good. My testimony is flourishing. It was a privilege to serve, and I'm grateful for all the people I met, and the experiences we shared. |
