ya I did have a baptism on saturday. there were 4. 3 of them were mine and elder Van Deventer's and the other one was Elder Calls and Elder Garcia's. the 3 we baptized were Julie, Samantha, and Rosie and the 4th one was named Dickson. I
gave the baptism talk at their baptism and then on sunday, I gave the confirmation for Rosie. it was way awesome. It felt like the lord and Jeses Christ were in the church on sunday. I knew I could feel them in the confirmation with us putting their hands on their heads confirming them as well. It was way awesome.
Also, saturday we had a helping hands day. it was way cool. there were 200+ members there to help out. we worked on the church's plantation garden which looked like the dump and so we all worked really hard to make it look nice. got the whole thing done in 3 1/2 hrs. Saw one of my MTC teachers there, Brother
Rushworth, and got to catch up with him for awhile. Bro. Rushworth, My MTC district leader Elder Hull and Elder Call were talking together about me and seeing the change in me and when I showed up to talk to them, they asked if I
have changed. I feel changed spiritually and physically. I have gained 11lbs since I have been on my mission. IM SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!! Its because of all the food. We get a free shipment of food every monday at home and then the members
stuff us big time. I love it and then I excersice and work out every morning. also, keep reading the Ensign every month. they have been putting in the pix of ppl who are doing Helping Hands from all over the world. so my group should be in there sometime soon. tell everyone else that. including the members at
church. So how is everyone at church? everyone still asking about me? weather out here
is awesome. |
