Born 1 December 1937 in St George, Utah, USA, Bruce grew up in the farming community of Santa Clara, Utah. In 1955 he married Cheryl Cox and the couple were sealed in the St George temple two years later.
Brother Stucki attended Dixie College and the University of Utah graduating in management. After his graduation he entered the food distribution business and later became a property developer in the western United States.
Brother Stucki has served over the years as a Scouting and Young men leader, a bishop, a stake president, a regional representative and was called as an Area Authority when that office was created.
In 1997 he and his wife were called to serve over the England Manchester Mission were he served until shortly after his call to the Second Quorum of Seventy at the April 1999 General Conference. One of the Stucki's family mottos has been "We Do It Together" which they carried in to the mission field with them, working together with the missionaries, local leaders and members. |
