I served in the mission and was the only Elder I think that was assigned to one area for that length of time. I really grew to love and appreciate the people of the South and to embrace their fierce love of family and southern traditions. I went on to graduate from BYUH and BYU.
I was married soon after my MA and tragically lost my sweetheart within what seems now like a memory of moments. I was briefly married a second time but that in itself was not the right time, definitely not the right person and the right place to have been. I continue to serve, but I am less vocal and focal in the church environment now. |
