Hey it's been 3 years since I've updated this thing so here is the new stuff that maybe you'll be interested in. Last spring I took a backpacking trip through most of western Europe and managed to take a few stops in our old stomping grounds. They no longer have a branch in Tours. It's just a group of people and two missionaries who go to 2 hours of church a week. Two people knew me. The branch in La Rochelle seemed to be doing fine but nobody knew me or even came up and asked who I was. Bordeaux was still that smelly city by the river so I spend the least amount of time possible there. I did stop by and visit some of my nonmember friends and they were glad I came. I ran into Nate Bryan at the foot of the colosseum in Rome...which was odd but cool. Also I spent last summer working at Lake Powell as a house boat instructor. It was one of my best summers! Nothing beats wakeboarding all summer. I'm done with school and have accepted a possition in Ogden, Utah as the French/English Regional Account Manager for THC. I love it because of the french but dislike the fact that I have to converse with Canadians. We all love your cute little "do gooder" country but do you really have to make that money that screws with our vending machines? |
