After my mission I finished my BS in Statistics at BYU and graduated in 1996. Following a summer internship in Cleveland (where I met Jeff), I moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington. Jeff and I were married in the summer of 1997 and I finished my MS in biostatistics in the spring of 1998. We then moved to San Mateo, CA and I worked with a medical research group at UCSF while Jeff got his MS in aerospace engineering at Stanford. He finished in the summer of 1999 and we moved to Virginia, just outside of Washington D.C.
We have 6 kids -- Peter (born Jan. 2000), Elizabeth (born Oct. 2002), Sarah (born Sept. 2004), Emily (born Sept. 2006), Rachel (b. Aug 2008), and Rebecca (b. Sept. 2011). I teach early morning seminary. Life is busy and good. |
