I took my wife back to see the old mission this last April ('05) - first time I had been back. We saw some of Paris and then spent a week in the Perigord (passing through Chateauroux on the way - didn't want to stop there). Most Perigueux members from 10 years ago were still there and active. Not much growth though. I had to fight the urge to street contact while walking around being a tourist. It was great to go back and the french was just getting good again by the time we left. |
