I had other companions who weren't on the list: Sr. Stovall and Sr. Nacera Allal. I also had several great roommates: Sr. Rawlings, Sr. Neville, and Sr. Updike.
I graduated with a degree in French from Utah State University. I married Ben, the guy I was writing to during my mission. He got home from his mission in Chile 3 weeks after me. We have three daughters: Kayanna, born March 2001, Molly, born Feb. 2003, and Sarah, born June 2005. I stay home with them and sell real estate on the side, which is lots of fun!
I am currently the primary president, and Ben is the elder's quorum president. We said we wanted to move where we are needed (yes, even in Salt Lake), but we joke now that we weren't sure we wanted to be needed so much! One sister in our ward said we live in the mission field in the shadow of the temple. In many ways, it is very true! |
