I am just a desperate mother who has a son traveling alone in Bordeaux: he arrives at the airport at 6pm on June 21st. There was a scheduling conflict and the family he will be visiting in Southern France cannot pick him up until the 22nd. I am afraid for him to stay all night alone at the airport and don't even know if it will be open.
Does anyone know how secure the airport is in Bordeaux? Is it open all night? Is it safe? Are there members close by that would be willing to help him and give him a place to stay that night? He is only 18 and has worked so hard to be able to make this trip; he is paying for it all on his own with too many unexpected expenses that came up and he will be running short to get a hotel for that night. Please, does anyone have any suggestions or info that can help? |
