Married Robyn Gillis, 1970; five children, divorced. Married Vickie Muir Stewart, 2001 - 9 children, 14 grandchildren between us. PhD in Chemistry, University of Utah, 1975; retired Sr. Research Chemist with ConocoPhillips Petroleum Co., Bartlesville, OK. Technology VP of GreenFire Energy, a startup geothermal energy company. President Eco Advanced LLC, which sells high-end synthetic motor oil in Japan. 38 patents in petroleum chemistry, chemometric data analysis, alternative energy. Two commercial analytical instruments use technology I developed/invented. Still play piano, organ. Currently stake music chairman, past service as ward and stake clerk, high councilor, computer specialist, ward mission leader, teacher development director, Gospel Doctrine teacher, ward organist, scout leader. Have written two full-length LDS pageants, and directed a regional LDS choir. Served as school board president, president of city theater group, and city Choral Society.
