Comments:
After my Mission I pretty fast got married to Maggie. After 4 years of childless marriage we had twins. Mischa and Amanda were born in 75. I had my own Architect's office in Basel/Switzerland until the Church hired me as Church Area Architect for Europe and Europe West. Our second son (3rd child) Nico, was born in Frankfurt in 79. In Frankfurt I was in charge of planning meeting houses in 14 of Europe's contries, finishing up to 107 buildings per year. It was the best thing I have done so far in regards to working. To have as your business partners on one side some very experienced local architects and on the other side fine bishops, stake and mission presidents is a wonderful way to earn one's salary. In 82 it was time for us to move on. We moved back to Zurich/Switzerland, only to find out, that we were made for travelling. 1898-95 we spent in Japan, incl. our 2nd daughter Vanessa (4th child). Since 1996 we are back in Switzerland.
