My companions were: Seldon Daniels (mission home), Robert Hogge (Nantes), Glen Hovey (Nantes), Lynn Hart (le Mans), Thomas Moore (Tours), Stephen Haslem (Tours), Dennis McKay (Tours), Richard Holdaway (Versailles), David Steffen (Versailles), Armin Kroll (Tours & Caen), Stephen Porter (Caen), Kenneth Jones (Nantes) and Stephen Jones (Nantes). I also had two other companions while serving in Versailles whose names, regretfully, I do not recall. I love you all and am deeply in your debt for the contribution you made to my life. My son Jed served a mission in Bulgaria from July 1998 to June 2000. He is presently at BYU majoring in physics. My daughter is a junior at BYU. She is majoring in French and International Development with a minor in Russian. I think she's considering a mission. Serving in the French Mission was a highlight of my life. I will always consider myself part French. |
