Church life has centered around numerous YM program ward and stake callings which have been wonderful. Recently served as HC, 3.5 years in ward Bishopric, currently in HP Group leadership.
My sweet wife passed away April 2005 after a five year battle with breast cancer. I spent 3 years doing lots of pondering, then dealing with being single, and doing the dating thing all over again but with lots of mature insight and skills. Blessed enough to find another great woman who has become my eternal partner as well, and we are figuring out how we can get my kids thru missions/college, care and counsel for her 4 adults kids, 11 grandkids, and still have enough money to start our own missions soon.
Just retired after 25 years, at age 55. Contemplating what comes next... Living, working and serving in Europe is most likely.
Can't wait!
All the best. |
