One Sunday a few years ago I said "Hello" to a visitor. She was French. We had baptized her husband in late 1973. She joined after I left Orléans. They went on a mission to Madagascar and met a couple missionary from our ward. She was visiting with her husband. Br. and Sis. Javois spent several weeks in our ward. It was great to renew the friendship. Sister Javois said to me that Sunday 'I have been praying to find Elder Evans'. It was a real miracle that of all the wards and stakes in Utah her friends from their mission should have come from our ward! Je sais que l'Eglise est vraie. J'aime toujours parler français mais je n'ai pas beaucoup d'occasions. |
