Comments:
I also had as companions Elders Gaz, Bradford, Tanner and others not listed.

I am married with 3 children; Astrid 21 - studying medecine in Bordeaux, Lauren 15 - doing a double baccalaureate both with French and a German lycees and Sinclair 13 - a history buff -(Dad, do you know Lenin's real name?, etc.). My wife Patricia and I were married by Neal A. Maxwell (oh, how I miss him - he was my anchor). Patricia has a PhD in international diplomatic law from France's Institut de Sciences Politiques & speaks 5 languages and is a gifted pastel artist - Wall Findlay Gallery of Beverly Hills, etc. I have my MBA form Thunderbird and 2 French post graduate pre-doctoral dregrees (DEA & DESS). You will find my management ideas in chapter 7 of "The Story of Managing Projects" available on Amazon.com and am now working on another management book about how to manage creative people. My present project is finishing the protoytpe for a management game in 10 different languages. Family life and professional here are much more challenging than being a missionary ever was or could be (taxes, bills, bosses, children's birthday parties, dating. vacations, etc.) The most challenging aspect of living here is not the Church but the members (nothing new for missionaries to understand). My children are in Catholic schools and part of the Catholic scouts. 3 years ago I was blessed to have a morale boosting and testimony confirming dream about the Saviour's visit to France at the beginning of the Millenium. I am still striving to serve in these French vineyards but in my own little way that hopefully is more French in order to reach out and touch them through their language and culture and mentality. God bless us everyone Christian, Jew, Muslim and Hindu.
