Comments:
I married my husband, Kurt, in 1996 after graduating from BYU in Special Education, grades K-12. I taught at Bennion Junior High for two years and then my husband and I moved to Manhattan, KS, so that he could pursue his doctorate in Family Life Education and Consultation. I taught at both middle schools in Manhattan and then retired (quit) after my husband graduated and got a job with the Kansas Board of Regents in Topeka, KS. We then moved to Topeka and have lived here since 2001 and love it!

We now have four children. Parker (9), Alyssa (7), Emilie (3), and Bryant (2). My husband is currently the bishop of our ward here in Topeka, KS.

There are not too many opportunities to use my French in KS. Although we do have one French restaurant here in town. At least we do have many opportunities to share the gospel.
I have wonderful memories of the members in France and those with whom I served! I would love to hear from any of you!
Soeur Gunnell (Peterson)
