Comments: After serving for three wonderful years in the France Paris Mission, we moved to Provo, Utah, in July of 2002 where we had built a home just prior to leaving for France. Five of our seven children lived in our Provo home and attended BYU while we were in France. After serving on our stake high council as advisor to the single adults for three years, I was called as first counselor in the MTC Mission Presidency and Soeur Madsen is first counselor in the MTC Relief Society presidency. Our call is for two years. We will be released in January of 2009. We love serving with the missionaries at the MTC. Bryan, our youngest, graduated in 2006 from BYU in modern dance and musical theatre and has been with the Broadway touring company of Wicked for nearly two years. David, Jr., graduated from BYU in 2003, but passed away in the spring of 2005 from cancer after having been cancer-free for 22 years. We still miss him a great deal. Nicole returned from her misson in Madrid, Spain, in February of 2003 and is now working full time for the HR department of a large law firm in Washington, DC. Michael is in his second year of a medical residency with the Air Force in Omaha, NE. He and his wife, Emma, have one daughter. Steve and his wife, Carrie, and their four children live in Atlanta where he has an insurance agency. Diane and her husband, Justin, now live in Springville, Utah, with their two children after having spent three years in Germany and Holland. Our oldest daughter, Katie, lives in Mt. Home, Idaho, with her husband, Jeff, and their four children. |
