This Christmas will mark 24 years since I spent my first mission Christmas together with Elder Westfall in Wilhelmsburg. Even though so much time has passed, I frequently reflect upon my time as a missionary in Hamburg, Hannover, and Berlin. Now as my family matures, I hope that my children can have similar experiences someday. I have been back to Germany several times over the past few years and although I travel internationally on a regular basis, there is no foreign land I would rather visit. |
