We have three beautiful daughters, ages 17, 13 and 11. I produce video biographies in addition to my day job at a large law firm. Martin Peters and I taught a German class at HAFB a few years ago. As a volunteer during the 2002 Olympics, I drove German athletes and officials to competition venues, greeted the President of Germany, and gave the Mayor of Frankfurt a tour of the Olympic Village. I have returned to Germany three times since my mission. During my 2004 trip I was invited to speak in sacrament meeting at the Stadthagen Gemeinde. One of our investigators in 1981 is now the YM president. He married in the temple and has four sons. We stayed at the home of Guenter and Ingrid Borcherding during our visit. Guenter was the ward mission leader in 1981 and is now president of the Berlin Mission. Erich Kopishke was the elders quorum president in 1981 and is now a member of the Quorum of Seventy. The Stadthagen Gemeinde has quite a legacy. |
