I guess it's time for an update. My oldest son returned from Argentina and was married last Saturday in the Newport Beach Temple. My second son left for his mission in Washington DC South - Spanish on Wednesday, he's in the MTC until 9/1/10, Elder Josiah Astle (box 198) if you want to write. My daughter Lennon is on a Pioneer Trek in Wyoming right now, so you can see the house is quiet, which after all these years with six it's a little disturbing. Now my sons can talk about me in Spanish behind my back. Hope all of you are well. The church is still true 30 years later. Hard to believe it has been that long, time goes by so quickly. As Pres. Schreiber told me when I left the mission - "a mission is a well that you will drink from the rest of your life" -- he was definitely right about that. Adios. |
