My wife Cynthia and I were married about 11 years ago and we have lived in Kaysville, Utah for almost four years. There's no backyard, but just having all the trees and a creek make it worth it. Our son Jackson Christopher is now eight years old. I baptized him, the first one since my mission! My daughter Sierra Mikel is five. Cynthia is from Yuba City, CA. We sometimes wonder about living in the Northwest in the future, perhaps in Portland or Lakewood, WA where Cynthia's parents own some property. I've been a creative writer for more than 15 years, having worked both in-house and at ad agencies as a copywriter and creative director. I've taught adults most of my church life and was just recently called as a priest's advisor.
Currently I'm writing a novel and have written lyrics to some songs. My wife likes hiking and mountain biking and will probably be taking it up again. She also likes photography.
