I'm still working for Jacobsen Construction in Salt Lake City, and just started working on the downtown rising City Creek Center project. I actually work right in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building at Temple Square which means I get to wear a white shirt and tie to work every day. I haven't had to do that since about 1999. We now have three children. Our second son, Joshua, was born May 8, 2008. He is just a happy kid, content to sit and watch the older kids run circles around him. He recently started crawling, which means we now have to start baby proofing the house again. Our older son, Jarom, will be five this spring. Hard to imagine him starting Kindergarten next fall. The latest favorites are Star Wars Legos and light sabers. Julia, our daughter, really likes how permanent markers and walls go together. She's two and a half and everything that goes with that. She also can get her daddy to do anything when she puts her mind to it. She can hold her own against her big brother, and actually pounds him pretty good when he deserves it. Andrea continues to work twice a month as a nurse and likes using her skills. Other than that, we're busy with home improvement projects like adding a bathroom downstairs and trying to figure out ways to keep all of our stuff somewhat organized. Life is good and we feel very blessed. |
