Presidents: Harold Schreiber (1979 - 1982) | Richard K. Klein (1982 - 1985) | Served: 1982 - 1983 | Language(s) spoken:German | Areas Served: Spandau, Hamburg, Göttingen, Dahlem, Neumunster | Companions: Henry Laine Berghout | David Logan Evans | Jesse Fisher | Hal Halladay | Raymond Drews Riska | Curtis L. Tyrrell | Walter E. Weinzinger | Your Occupation: Cabinetmaker | Spouse: Kim Rodabough | Comments: Kim and I celebrated our 20th on the day Pres. Klein died--he was a great man. Sam is a freshman @ BYU--hangs out in the dungeon of the HFAC w/ the piano tuners; Rebekah is a senior and tolerates school, but loves to sing and dance...and CHAT; Eliza is a sophomore--she's into music and runs cross-country just to stay fit (hint, hint, Dad); Abigail is in 8 th grade-all 6'2" of her (I'm 6'1" and shrinking.); Madisen is in 6 th grade--art is here forte'; Max is in 5 th grade–he loves his wide-open spaces, his bicycle, bow, and friends. The house took 7 months longer than planned and looks like a cabinetmaker's house--mostly finished. We did build a teaching studio for Kim to teach piano lessons. We did the Teton Crest Trail last summer, but settled for a Timp Hike this summer because we spent the first 2 ½ weeks of summer vacation in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland--mother-in law offered to pay half, and I'm no dummy--fantastic trip. (Best part: doing it as a family and visiting with all of the people we met; worst part: our 9 person Mercedes van would do only 160 on the Autobahn). I teach Gospel Doctorine–1 more year and I’ll have completed the cycle. |
