With the exception of a one-year New York City interlude, we've lived in Arizona every year since I graduated from the Y. Marilyn and I have four kids: Cassandra Monds (served a mission in Leipzig, married after college and recently made a grandfather out of me), Andy (Phillippines Cebu and now at the Y), Steve (currently serving in Washington Tacoma) and Beth Ann, who leaves us soon for BYU. I think fondly of my mission every day. Marilyn and I took part in the European leg of Seatrek 2001 and, during our Hamburg stay, were able to meet and renew acquaintances with many wonderful Saints from the old Wartenau Stake. There is even a ward today in Bergedorf. The Church must be true! |
