Coming home from General Conference in April 2002 and our mini reunion at the ballpark, I had a terrible accident and am now a quadriplegic. I can honestly say, though, that I'm a lot stronger now than I was then- spiritually, emotionally, mentally, etc. Only my body is weaker. Anyone who remembers me from the last few months of my mission knows that I was not well spiritually, emotionally or mentally. It took a literal bottoming out to get me to go back up, or at least begin to, I'm still working on it. |
