My wonderful wife and I have 4 great kids and so far 3 grandkids. In my second career as a teacher, I have had the opportunity to come back and live in Germany. I teach for DoDDS (remember all of those American bases in Germany? They all have schools) and we started out our career in the Philippines, where we were ushered out by Mt. Pinatyubo erupting after only being there for 2 years. From there we ended up in Spain where we spent the next 10 years. Finally, we got a transfer to Germany. We have lived here now for 8 years and I intend to retire in another 10 and then move back to Washington state. I am the Stake Financial Clerk for the Kaiserslautern Serviceman's Stake and probably will be until we leave. I have already gone through 2 Stake Presidents and 6 Stake Clerks. |
