We've were in Texas from 1980 to 2000 and were transferred to Virginia pursuant to the merger of Exxon and Mobil. Rode several booms and busts in the oil business. I have been YM President, Bishopric Counselor, High Councilor, HPGL and now Bishop. My wife Nancy teaches Relief Society. Our son returned from a mission in Venezuela, Maracaibo following a year at BYU and was married in Feb. 2001 and has four children and works as a systems engineer. He had a terrific mission, which delights me no end. Our second son, Jason returned from a mission in Brazil in December 2003 in Political Science, graduated in political science at BYU and graduates from Georgetown Law in 2011. We now have 5 grandchildren. OUr daughter Katie graduated in music performance and is in a Masters program at U Michigan with her husband. Our youngest daughter Sarah is a senior at BYU (2010) in Communications - Public Relations. Would love to hear from any and all friends from the field or the LTM. |
