We have lived in Missouri for 17 years now and recently moved to a 40 acre farm in the country. We have 8 children, 5 sons and 3 daughters. Our 2nd and 3rd sons are serving missions in Idaho and Brazil at the present time (2005). Our oldest son is married. Our oldest daughter graduated from BYU and is working in Provo. We have been blessed with children that attend early morning seminary because they want to be there. I have had many church assignments including HC, Stake YM, Bishopric, Bishop, MP Leader, Scoutmaster, WML and I am now back in scouting. I know that the order looks funny but that is how they do things in Missouri. Mary Ann has also served in many leadership and teraching callings. We are about 125 miles from Nauvoo and 150 miles from Kansas City and St Louis. It is wonderful to visit the church sites here in the midwest. I have been the Director of Technology and Computer Services for Moberly Area Community College for the past 11 years and prior to that I have served in several Vocational Dean positions. |
