Visited Bayern several times since the misson and in my opinion 'Es wird weniger Bayrish gesprochen'. Never have had a tan (face and hands) like the one I got tracting in Burghausen, summer 75. Wish I knew if Axson lebt noch. All the omas I worked with must certainly be in the Geisterwelt by now. Miss driving that old VW around Augsburg singing tunes with Bauer. Only the Lord knows we tried to drive it in reverse to remove klicks from the odometer. It was wonderful to visit him in Idaho last summer - we are very old and very fat. My son Erik and daughter Leslie served missions in South America, and my son Dallin just returned last year from Spanish speaking Florida. They had MANY more baptisms we did in Bayern. But who was tougher than us, ge? |
