Comments: I married Tom the summer before med school and had my first two children, Alex and Brooke, during the next busy four years. I decided my family needed me more than the medical profession, so we moved to Michigan for my husband's new engineering job where Christopher, our third, joined the family. I am happily raising my three children -- although with late night feedings and early mornings, I sometimes feel like I'm back working on the maternity ward. So, I dabble in gardening, writing a fantasy novel, making yogurt in my dehydrator, and teaching the occasional cardio karate class to other church moms who want to stay active. I'm the beehive counselor in my ward, and still forget to bring a centerpiece when I'm teaching. At least I remember my scriptures. My mission is now all fond memories. The difficult times have faded. Funny how that happens. I'd love to hear from old friends. Take care! |
