My father served in the South German mission in the early 60s, when the mission office was in Stuttgart, just recieved an invitation to a reunion and learned of this website and shared it with me. I was overwhelmed with a flood of great memories as I looked at all of the names of the registrants to this site.
I am married to a wonderful woman named Diane and we have two little boys; John-David (6) and Christian (2). We live in Holladay, Utah, not far from where I grew up. We are very pleased with our ward and neighborhood. I have served in several callings in our ward, I think my favorite has been working with the youth.
One of my favorite hobbies is cycling. Last year I competed in a race that begins close to President Burton's home in Providence and ends in Jackson Hole. The race is called LOTOJA (Logan to Jackson)
I am frequently reminded of the missionary days, its hard to believe that almost 20 years have passed since that life molding event. I am ever grateful for all of the lessons and experience of that great time. |
