CHARLES A. PERSCHON 1915 ~ 2009
Charles A. Perschon, age 94, passed away Friday, August 14, 2009 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was born March 24, 1915 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William F. Perschon and Johanna B. Perschon.

He graduated from West High School and attended the University of Utah. He married Sally McKean on October 13, 1939 in the Salt Lake Temple.

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a missionary in the German Austrian Mission from 1934-37. He also served in the U.S. Army. Charlie was the owner of Perschon Paint and Wallcovering, President of the Paint and Wallpaper Association of America, Bishop of Capitol Hill Ward, Mission President of the Munich Germany Mission 1980-82, Temple Worker, and served in various other church capacities.

He left behind a legacy of ambition, generosity, a good sense of humor, and a love of hard work and success.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Sally Perschon; children, C. Robert Perschon, Susan P. Perri, Mark M. Perschon, Karl H. Perschon; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Madeline Thompson and Edith Sanders. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, William Perschon, Joe Perschon, Ruth Taggart, Margaret Howells, Grace Corbett, and Josie Christensen.

A private graveside service will be held on Monday, August 17, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, spend some time with those you love.
