Hello from an American in Italy! I am here working with African Immigrants and refugees. We have one 17-year-old boy from Ghana trying to meet up with his family (his mother and father) living outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. The center here in Italy has tried to send the necessary paperwork from the US State Department to the family there in the US, but the family does not fully understand the documentation and cannot manage to complete the documents neeeded and they need the help of anyone possible to go to their home outside of Salt Lake City, with the appropriate documents and help them to fill it out so we can help this boy in Italy be reunited with his true family!
Please email me and I will send all documents and information for contacting them. The boy here has until February of 2013 to get the documents filled out as he is now a minor, but when he turns 18, it will be a whole new can of worms to reunite them, as he would then be an adult and subject to other requirements for reuniting him with his family there in Utah.
