I married Heather Kay Weldon on January 31, 1996. In June 1999 our son, Todd Emery Loertscher was born. He is just had his 7th birthday & has started 2nd grade. In March 2001 our daughter, Ruth Evi Loertscher, was born. In August 2004 Ruth was diagnosed with Leukemia. She has been doing chemo since then & had a bone marrow transplant last spring. On August 9th 2006, 2 years and 3 days after her diagnosis, she passed away and returned to our Heavenly Father. She no longer is suffering and is in good hands until we are able to be with her again. Her funeral was on August 12th. Life is starting to take on a whole new normal for us. We have been very blessed during this time, by the support of family, friends, and neighbors who have taken great care of us. We are greatful for all the many blessings the gospel brings to our lives. Stay close to the Lord and remember that He will help you through any trials that may arise in your life! |
