Comments: I graduated with a BA in Music Education from BYU in 1982, and was married the same year to Chris Hooke. We have five children, ranging in age from 26 to 14. Our oldest son returned from the Brazil Belém mission in June of '06. Having had him on a mission brought back a lot of great memories from my own mission! Our youngest son, will be entering the MTC in São Paulo in May, then heading to the Brazil Recife mission! The truth goes forth! My husband Chris (who served in the Italy Catania mission) is a transportation engineer for our county public works department. I am very glad to be able to be a stay-at-home mom, substitute teaching once in awhile for middle school music teachers in the area. Chris and I have both served in many and varied capacities in the Church, and we are still striving to live the gospel. The Church is true!! Life is busy but wonderful. I'd love to hear from anyone who served during my time! (Does anyone know how I could contact Sister Brillalba Bonilla from El Salvador?) |
