Although my life has taken a different path, I look back on my days in Haiti with fond and happy memories and am grateful for the many wonderful friendships established during those two great years! I am living in working in Toronto now - have a wonderful partner - and enjoy travelling to Cuba annually. I still speak French, Creole, and now Spanish. Also, I still dance like a madman and do enjoy the occassional naked shower in the rain (just like at Poste Marchand!) I haven't been back to Haiti - but plan to someday where I hope to do relief work for the poor. The big dream? To travel to Africa to do relief work. |
