3 daughters. Rachel, 26, (911 Dispatcher, St. G, UT) married with twins due Aug.2007, Aubrey 24,(Dixie grad, mission to Cincinatti,Oh.Finishing up school@Utah State), Heidi 22, (works in Las Vegas as bartender). I've been a finish carpenter 32 yrs. Eagle Scout 1972. Ham radio KD6UEA, Woodbadge 1986 Beaver patrol. Cubmaster once, Blazer Leader twice, ASM 3 times, SM 3 times. 2 Stake missions. Survived 1 minor & 2 major cancer surgeries in 1995 (malig.melanoma & cancer of lymph-nodes) Surgery on throat 9/02. Diagnosed: Mantle Cell Lymphoma (see Google search). Completed daily radiation treatments the end of Jan.'03. Underwent chemotherapy since radiation failed to slow or stop it. Bone marrow transplant @ UCDavis in May/June 2005 which slowed growth. Not in remission but not dead yet. Comps were: Crowther, Workman, Pearson, Anderson, Probst, Jones, Goldston, Bennett, Powers, Burdett, Robinson, Stehle. Baptized my mom & sister after mission. There are plenty of bumps & bruises in this life....hope you are thriving during this "moment in eternity". |
