In 2004, I was in a bad car accident. I was hit by a drunk driver in his F-250 while I was driving home from a night class at the university(Lamar) in my Honda Civic. Needless to say, I was in critical condition. This all happened just 2 1/2 months after I got married in the Houston Texas Temple!!! To make a long story short, I lived even though every doctor believed I would die. I have nine metal plates in my head and received extensive surgury. There are pictures on my myspace page. (Search Damon Wright) I am a walking miracle. Since that time, we have added a child to our family and I have graduated with a Bachelors and an Associates. I now work in Houston as a Radiation Therapist treating cancer patients with radiation. It is such a rewarding job. Email me if you want to hear more. |
