Presidents: H. Hal Visick (1986 - 1989) | Burgess (1989 - 1992) | Served: 1988 - 1990 | Language(s) spoken:english | Areas Served: Charleston, Morton, Ft. Madison, Champaign, Decatur, East Peoria | Companions: David Alan Bollwinkel | Michael Sean Garrison | Joshua Eric Little | Kevin G. Luke | Royce L Monson | Mark L. Nichols | Jeffrey W Ross | Kenneth Neal Skabelund | Your Occupation: attorney | Spouse: Desiree | Comments: There are other missionaries I want to list as companions, though we were only paired up on splits. Elder Barnett (who was my first companion for a day and a half while my trainer went to leadership meeting) and who would say "Dude!" in his southern accent; Elder Skow, who could turn getting the spare key frrom the hide-a-key rock into the funniest production ever; Elder Backus who, with Elder Glenn, once lifted the back end of their VW Golf and swung it into the street to the astonishment of the frat boys who had deliberately blocked them into a parking spot; Elder Cappuchio and his dream to go home with two "burritos as big as your head" to last him on the flight home; Elder Hancock and his two scarf system of blocking out Illinois winters (which I still use); Elder Edvalson, whose tie I still have, after he left it in the Decatur Apt after transfers; and Elder Russon, who once built an imaginary signal flare with Elder Bollwinkel out of two books and a watch the wrist strap had fallen off of. And those are just the non-companion stories. |

LDS QUOTE: |
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lords work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
