Just entered the MTC. Will be leaving for India on the 19th.
Is serving in New Delhi. Loves it!! Loves the people and the message. Lucked out with a great trainer companion Elder Olson.
Is now serving in Rajahmundry (Raj) with Elder Labrum.

Elder Conners is serving now in Hyderabad with Elder Ashworth. He really loves President and Sister Nichols. Some very good friends of the Nichols live in our ward. They knew each other in Alaska. Small world. The new mission president in Delhi was the mission president here in Maine. Very small world!

Visa problems all over India!! Perhaps Elder Conners will be coming home a month or two early. He will hate that!!! I think he would stay for an extension. He is serving in a new area (just opened) Andra Pradesh with Elder Sakamaki. They were transferred together which is unusual I hear. They have been successful even though there is religious tension in Bangalore. Big thank you to Elder Sandholtz and Sakamaki for being outstanding companions to Elder Conners. He tells us that all of his companions have taught him important things. |
