Indy, Cumberland, Angola | Your Occupation: Registered Nurse | Spouse: Melissa | Comments: A week after getting home I was enrolled at Idaho State University. A year later I was hired as a deputy sheriff in Malad, ID. Here I met my sweet wife Melissa. A year later I took a job in Idaho Falls working for Bonneville Co. Sheriff's Office. While there I served as a patrol deputy, dive/rescue team member, and an entry team and sniper on the tactical team. Both for approx 12yrs. I later served in dectives working property crimes, child abuse, arson and homicide. After nearly 13 yrs I was forced to take a medical retirement due to injury.
I went back to school earning a degree in nursing. I am presently at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center where I serve as a Charge Nurse in the Emergency Dept.
My wife Melissa and I will be celebrating our 20th wedding this coming June. At present she is earning a degree in Elementary Education at BYU. She will be done in spring of 2011.
I have three wonderful children Erica 18 yoa, Jacob 15 yoa, and my youngest Erin 13 yoa.
Still very active in the church with my family. Currently serving in the Sunday School teaching 16 & 17 yr olds. Served numerous times in Scouting in many capacities.
To this day I sing On an Indiana Morning often as it brings back so many memories.
Would love to hear from anyone who has served in the greatest mission in the world. |
