| Two months before leaving on his mission, Dan Lyons drove his grandpa from Utah to his new home in Massachussets. Travelling through the area he got in an accident in Niles, MI. The car needed significant work, so they took a rental car and returned in a few weeks. The waited around for another week while the work was being finished (motto: it'll be ready tomorrow). Now on his mission, his 2nd area was Niles. On the first Sunday in the ward, the bishop asked if he had ever been in Niles before. "Well, yeah" he answered. Not knowing of the incident, the bishop said "it must have been by accident!" |
