| I served in1976-78 I loved my mission and reflected on often. About 1991 I recieved a call from one of the families. Sister Ruby Elson called to thank me for accepting my call as a missionary. I told her it was a pleasure and a gift to serve then she told me "Because you answered the call You came to our door and found us. We are an eternal family because of the gospel of Jesus Christ, you came to us ". I told her again what a joy it had been to teach her and her family. Then she replied that she was dieing and felt a joy because of her Temple covenants.... Two weeks later her husband wrote of her beauty resting in the casket with her sacred temple clothing. We never know until we answer the call. |
