| Comments: Hi there! I am Pieter Vernes and I was one of the IDM missionaries that came from Holland. I started my mission in Limerick, my trainer was Elder Jon Edwards. I also served in Dublin and Cork. After my mission I met my wife Annelies who was investigating the Church at the time in Holland and I baptized her two months before we got married. We live in Frankfurt Germany and we are blessed with 3 children (ages 24, 21 and 15). Two of our children are getting married this summer. Our son Jeff, got a call to the West Indies Mission and went to the MTC in Provo on 1 July 2008. He has served in Guyana, St. Maarten and Suriname.
